Every day news papers, radio and television are bringing us new horrific scenes from the devastation of Haiti. Monster Truck, like so many others, has decided that it would like to help. If you want to help the people of Haiti, why not join in Monster Truck's '"It fell off the back of a Monster Truck" sale on Saturday January 30th from 3pm to 9pm. Artists affiliated with Monster Truck will be bringing along artworks to sell, as well as other assorted ephemera and cool stuff that they don't need any more. Be warned, if you want to BUY something, you have to BRING something. That's why its called a BRING and BUY sale, right?
So, bring anything of value that you think you can sell (from a can of Guinness, to an oil painting, to a pair of lovely old shoes, you get the idea). All sales and donations will go to the Haiti fund. We will have other entertainments on the day such as the wonderful DJ James 'Slik Blik' Kirwan and singers with international reputations. There will also be a raffle of a wonderful work of art from one of our Monster Truck Artists so you can expand your art collection and de-clutter your gaff while also helping the worthiest cause imaginable.
Come along for a day of fun, music and bric a brac treasure hunting down at your favorite independent art space, Monster Truck!
