Fundraising Ideas
Handbag sale: Get friends and boutiques to donate handbags and accessories and organise a girly night with all proceeds going to UNICEF.
Coffee morning: Organise a coffee and tea morning, cake optional, where you can charge café prices in your own home! Great way to catch up with friends and do good at the same time.
Table Quiz: Organise a fun night at your local pub or club, selling tables as entry prize money with proceeds to UNICEF. Usual price per person is €10 and you can run a raffle on the night too. Ask the bar to give a few prizes (wine, pints etc) and they may even contribute on the night. Have cash collection buckets to gain extra cash from the other pub-goers.
Fun run: Get a bunch of your friends to agree to do a fun run and get sponsored for UNICEF. Set yourselves a goal as a group – e.g. 10 friends, 100 per person is €1,000 which is a fantastic contribution.
Clothes Swap/Sale: Organise a girly night and invite friends and their friends too. Charge €5/€10 entry and put a small amount on the price of each item to go to UNICEF.
Easy nights out: organise a meal in your favourite restaurant. Agree a price per head with friends. Organise a set menu and give a cut to UNICEF.
Themed Party: organise a themed party for your birthday or any other occasion – Halloween/Christmas/Summer BBQ etc. Ask for donations as presents, or charge a small price in.
Sales event: Get local nurseries to donate plants and have a plant sale. Spring clean and have a book sale or sale of work. Organise a cake sale or a bake off! Your imagination is the only limit!
