Volunteer for UNICEF in Ireland
Thank you for choosing to support UNICEF Ireland. As we are voluntary funded – we really do rely on as much support from local communities as possible to enable us to continue to make a difference to the lives of children supported by UNICEF programmes worldwide. We know that everyday 19,000 children under the age of five die from preventable causes, such as drinking dirty water, not having shelter at night or not getting access to the most basic medical care - everything we now take for granted here in Ireland. We believe that number should be Zero and by working with us you can help us move closer to achieving this goal. Below are listed the many ways in which you can support us. Thank you from all the team at UNICEF Ireland.
Fundraising in your local community

We can provide you with support and information to help you in your fundraising and to spread the word about the work that UNICEF does. Don’t forget to visit our fundraising page which has lots of ideas and hints and tips to get you started!
Why don’t you let us know what you plan to do and we’ll see how we can help you out! Contact Claudine via email claudine@unicef.ie or call 01 8783000 for further details.
Thank you to our amazing volunteers!
We would like to say a huge ‘THANK YOU’ to our amazing volunteers who gave up their time to support our bag pack in Tesco, Stillorgan from 23rd August - 2nd September. It was a fantastic week and we raised over €5,000. Funds raised will go towards the Syria Children’s emergency appeal. To find out more about the current situation visit http://www.unicef.ie/Syria-Appeal-162.aspx

Volunteering in the office
If you have some spare time on your hands we occasionally need help in our office with administration tasks such as compiling mail-outs, data entry, creation of contact lists for telemarketing, stock takes, helping prepare for events and general ad hoc tasks. Our office is based in Dublin city centre and is open during office hours Monday – Friday.
To register your interest in volunteering with UNICEF Ireland simply download and complete our registration form and email the completed form back to claudine@unicef.ie, and we will contact you should any suitable volunteering positions arise. Click here download our volunteer policy document.
