You can help children with disabilities realise their potential

Children with disabilities don't lack ability - they lack opportunity. You can help provide it today.

Over 240 million children live with disabilities

These include mobility impairments, hearing loss, visual challenges, and limb loss. Many of these disabled children are denied the care, support, and opportunities they deserve simply because of where they were born.

But it doesn’t have to be this way. Your donation can help provide life-changing treatment, assistive devices, and ongoing rehabilitation to children who need it most

Your donation can power UNICEF’s work in over 190 countries for disabled children. Give today and be the reason a child’s life changes forever.

You can help reach severely injured children in war zones

Brothers Amir, 11, and Fadel, 14, were injured in an airstrike in Gaza. Amir lost his left eye. Fadel lost both legs. In an instant, two boys who had filled their home with laughter, football, singing, and life were robbed of the childhood they knew.

Their mother Najwa fears losing them not just to their physical injuries, but to the depression and trauma that has followed. “My children need wheelchairs and support,” she says. “They need a chance to feel alive again.”

Amir and Fadel are two of thousands of children with disabilities living in active conflict zones right now, who desperately need access to rehabilitation, mental health support, and basic assistive devices.

Your donation today can help children like them get the care they so desperately need.

Working for children the world has overlooked

Children with disabilities are often born into a world that wasn’t built for them. With your support, UNICEF is working to change that. We supply wheelchairs and prosthetic limbs to children injured in conflict, provide hearing aids to those with hearing loss, and support education for children with Down’s syndrome and other learning difficulties.

In schools and health centres, we install accessible water and sanitation facilities. We train frontline workers, support families, and advocate for disability-inclusive policies at every level.

Children with disabilities often spend their lives adapting to the world. At UNICEF, through our supporters, we aim to build a better future where they do not have to. Your donation today can help children with disabilities who need it most – in conflict zones, in classrooms, and in communities across the globe.
