This Christmas, children are suffering.

Millions of children all over the world are living in dire conditions this Christmas.

Right now, Famine is looming in Somalia and children are at risk of starvation. In Ukraine, children are being forced from their homes and facing a freezing winter with no protection from the elements.

No child should die of hunger or cold.

UNICEF is working tirelessly in over 190 countries to help protect children in danger. We are on the ground delivering life-saving support to children before, during and after an emergency strikes. But we cannot do it without your generous support.

Please give what you can this Christmas and help save a child’s life.

Children in Somalia

UNICEF is on the ground working around the clock.

Right now, the worst drought in 40 years is ravaging Somalia and it is likely to push parts of the country into Famine. The situation is already desperate. Families do not have enough food to feed their hungry children.
Little ones like Bishar are malnourished and in urgent need of treatment. With his mother Ambia, Bishar is finally at a UNICEF-supported stabilisation centre in Dollow, Somalia, to get the treatment he desperately needs. Ambia had to walk for one month to get to the centre.

We will stay and deliver

There has been conflict in eastern Ukraine for eight years now. Throughout, UNICEF has been on the ground there supporting children.
Since the war escalated in February, we have distributed lifesaving health and medical supplies to nearly four million people.  Millions of families and children like eight-year-old Lyala are living in shelters and freezing cold basements.
Now, as winter sets in, children urgently need us to reach them with blankets, warm clothing and fuel.
Please send what you can today and help save a child’s life.

Join our Community of Global Parents

Day in and day out, we will work together to make sure every child has a fair chance in life.

Every day around the world children are facing threats of violence, persecution, hunger and disease. Malnutrition is still the leading cause of death for children under five globally. It kills more than 3 million children every year – that is one child every 10 seconds.

Your monthly support will ensure children get the help they need when they need it most.
