Rafah Under Attack

Another evacuation order. Another ground offensive. Another day fighting for survival.

This is the latest crisis to hit Gaza, where children have already endured so much. More than 6 months of intensive bombardments have killed at least 14,000 children and injured thousands more. Now the threatened escalation of fighting in Rafah is putting more children at risk.

Home to 1.2 million people — 600,000 of whom are children — Rafah is braced for attack. Families who fled to the south in search of safety are now trapped with nowhere safe to go. Supplies of food and safe drinking water are running low, while reports of hunger and child malnutrition increase daily.

Children are under siege. They desperately need urgent supplies of food and water to ensure they stay alive. Right now, for thousands of families in the Gaza Strip, the threat of dying from hunger or contaminated water is very real

Immediate and critical action is needed to prevent an unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe in Rafah. Every minute counts and children desperately need your life-saving help. Together we can deliver the life-saving aid needed to keep children alive.

Help send food and water to children in Gaza. Children’s lives are hanging in the balance. Please donate now.

Help Children Trapped in a Living Hell

The entire population of Gaza is facing dire hunger with about half the population – that’s 1.1 million – facing catastrophic levels of food insecurity. 10,000 of them are already so desperately sick they could die unless they get urgent help.

Every hour that passes brings death even closer to children trapped in this conflict. They desperately need increased deliveries of emergency food and clean water.

With the generous help of our donors, UNICEF has been delivering vital food supplies to the Gaza Strip since the outset of the hostilities. These include infant formula, nutrient supplements, and Ready-to-Use Therapeutic Food for the early prevention and treatment of severe acute malnutrition.

But with the escalation of conflict, and food supplies and living conditions rapidly declining, children urgently need much more. They need emergency food supplies right now. Please will you help them?

Save a Child Like Nour

11-year-old Nour is so weak and ill from malnutrition that she requires oxygen to help her breath. Her tiny, frail body is battling for survival. No child should have to suffer like this.

Life-saving aid is mere kilometers away and with your help, UNICEF supplies will cross the border to reach children in need. Please donate today and help send more trucks, filled with emergency food and clean water, into Gaza.

Your help can’t come quick enough.
