Grace Loves School Again

For 11-year-old Grace in DR Congo, returning to school after a long absence wasn’t easy. She struggled to keep up with lessons and lost confidence in her abilities. 

Thanks to remedial classes supported by UNICEF, Grace is learning to read, write and do maths again, and her results are improving. 

Across Kasai province, an education programme is helping over 30,000 children in 100 schools get the education they deserve.
