Why is a gift in your will to UNICEF – so great?

Thanks to our donors, UNICEF works to save and protect the world’s most needy children. Gifts in wills are the most efficient, cost effective and impactful donations that anyone can make. Simply put when you leave a gift to UNICEF in your will, you help both today’s and tomorrow’s children.

UNICEF was born in 1946 to help children affected by World War II. Our supporters allowed us to provide life-saving therapeutic food, medical supplies and clothing to every child. 70 years later UNICEF and our donors are still working with children affected by emergencies, from earthquakes, floods and drought to armed conflict and malnutrition.

We, like you, have seen the world greatly change in the past seven decades. Europe has come together, man has walked on the moon, the internet has connected us all and millions more children see their fifth birthday.

A gift in your will could help even more children reach that milestone. We all know that too many children still die from easy to prevent causes.  Through your support you have helped change that, now we are asking that you work with us again and make a lasting difference for children.

You are part of the generation that has saved more children than any other. A gift in your will lets you keep saving children.

Gifts in wills work to achieve a real difference for the world’s most vulnerable children, helping fund long-term projects that may take many years to complete, but that will save lives and create countless opportunities for children.

We could not help a single child without our supporters. In talking about leaving a gift in your will, we are asking you to keep supporting children and to keep making that vital difference in children’s lives.
