UNICEF’s mission is to advocate for the protection of children and young people all over the world. To help achieve this, UNICEF has been working on implementing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to create a better future for every child and ensure that their rights are respected.
The SDGs are a set of 17 goals that cover topics such as quality education, gender equality, clean water and sanitation, economic growth, life on land, and more. They are part of a global effort to leave no one behind in the fight against poverty and inequality.
Also known as the Global Goals, SDGs are a call to action to end poverty, reduce inequality and build more peaceful, prosperous societies by 2030.
UNICEF works with governments, civil society, and partners to ensure that the SDGs are achieved in each country. This includes providing technical support for project implementation, coordinating activities with other partners, and advocating for policy change.
By working together, UNICEF hopes to ensure that the SDGs are successfully implemented, bringing about a brighter future for every child.
