At least 6 children have been reported dead in only a few hours as tensions rise in the Gaza strip.

Children in the State of Palestine are once again being exposed to the dangers and horror of violence and conflict. UNICEF director Henrietta H. Fore issued a reminder to all actors that “children should always be protected, not targeted or used in violent acts.”

Throughout this conflict, children and families in the State of Palestine have been denied access to basic services, including safe drinking water, adequate sanitation, education and health care. Children face high levels of violence, they are victims of grave violations of their rights, and they suffer from poverty and lack of opportunities.

UNICEF is on the ground in Gaza, working to alleviate the suffering of children affected by this conflict. Our humanitarian response focuses on providing life-saving healthcare, clean water and sanitation, and essential medicines.

Children are children first and foremost, and we need your help to continue providing lifesaving assistance to children on the ground.

Please donate now to help Palestinian children today.
