Be there for every child in an emergency

The world has never been more uncertain for children - your monthly support can help save lives today.

Monthly Donors Are First Responders for Children in Crisis

The first 72 hours of an emergency are critical. Monthly donations allow UNICEF to act fast – delivering life-saving aid where it's needed most, without delay.

Because this support isn’t tied to one country, it reaches children in the world’s toughest emergencies, including those that never make the news.

In 2024, monthly donors helped UNICEF screen 12.2 million children for malnutrition, deliver healthcare to 26.4 million women and children, and provide safe water to 17.4 million people.

In places like Gaza and Sudan, your monthly gift can be a lifeline before, during and after crisis. Help save lives today.

UNICEF in Gaza: Delivering Lifesaving Support for Children

In emergencies like Gaza, support from people like you is vital. With your help, UNICEF is reaching children facing hunger, injury, and trauma with the aid they urgently need.

Gaza is one of the most difficult places UNICEF operates. Our heroic teams on the ground, many of them parents themselves, continue to work tirelessly, despite facing the same hardship as every family in the Gaza Strip.

UNICEF Spokesperson James Elder has visited Gaza three times since October 7th 2023. Thanks to supporters, UNICEF continues to deliver therapeutic food to malnourished children across the region.

“We’ll keep doing everything we can to get this lifesaving magic paste to the children who need it most,” says James.

Help UNICEF Reach Children Beyond the Headlines

Monthly support from generous people like you helps UNICEF reach children in the world’s hardest places – even during emergencies that don’t make headlines.

UNICEF Ireland ambassador Donncha O’Callaghan has seen this impact in Sudan, Gaza and Afghanistan, meeting children whose lives were saved thanks to monthly donors.

“Unrestricted gifts allow UNICEF to respond fast, wherever the need is greatest,” Donncha says.

From our global supply hub in Copenhagen, UNICEF ships emergency supplies anywhere in the world within 72 hours, reaching even remote or conflict zones.

You Can Help Mothers Save Their Babies

In Gaza, children return to homes reduced to rubble, with little food and deadly disease from dirty water. Babies and young children are most at risk. Eman gave birth to triplets during the war. Despite the immense challenges, she kept them healthy with therapeutic milk provided through UNICEF. But with scarce food and clean water, their lives remain in danger.

In Sudan, 6-month-old Baraa was so malnourished his mother feared he would die. At a UNICEF-supported hospital, he received Ready-to-Use Therapeutic Food and life-saving care. Just two months later, he had gained 3kg and was smiling again. Thousands more children still face severe acute malnutrition.

In Syria, 7.5 million children urgently need aid after years of conflict.

By becoming a monthly supporter, you can provide food, safe water and medical care every day, everywhere. Your kindness can protect children in crisis and help them rebuild their futures.

Hope for children living through war in Ukraine

In Ukraine, generous supporters like you have provided Daria and her daughters Polina, 12, and Milana, 7, with UNICEF cash transfers, helping them buy coal to heat their home and a water tank for clean drinking water.

But the war still rages on.

Thousands of children live under the constant threat of bombs, forced to flee repeatedly in search of warmth and safety. Your support helps ensure these children and their families continue to receive the vital aid they need for as long as it takes.
