Annual Events for UNICEF Ireland

Events are a great way for our supporters to help us generate crucial funding while having a little fun along the way.

Each year UNICEF Ireland holds two much anticipated major fundraising events. The Corporate Christmas Lunch, held in early December, and the Mother’s Day Lunch, held in March. The events allow us to demonstrate UNICEF’s work on behalf of the world’s most vulnerable children. There are regularly special guests of honour, wonderful prizes and most importantly, great company!

The Corporate Christmas Lunch will be held in The Round Room at the Mansion House in Dublin on Friday, 7th of December 2018. The event, which is now in its 18th year, will commence with a reception at 12.15pm, followed by lunch at 1pm sharp. The event will host guests from Irish business and corporate communities. All proceeds go to UNICEF programmes for children in over 190 countries around the world. Bring your colleagues, business associates or clients out for a fun day and to support UNICEFs global efforts on behalf of children.

TV personality and journalist Anne Doyle is this year’s MC. Anne will be joined by UNICEF Goodwill Ambassadors Donncha O’Callaghan, Joe Canning, Laura Whitmore and more. The event concludes with a prize draw. Join UNICEF for a day of socializing and winning fabulous prizes all while supporting work on behalf of children.

The Annual Mother’s Day Lunch is well-marked on Dublin’s social calendar and allows us to make a real difference for children. 2018 marked the event’s 21st Anniversary. Proceeds from our Mother’s Day Lunch have gone towards our Safe Motherhood Programmes. These programmes provide lifesaving assistance to the most vulnerable mothers and babies around the world.
