nToday, anyone wondering how to make a Will can take advantage of the many free will-writing services available. Whether you would like to sit down in-person with your solicitor and discuss your wishes or make an online Will, there is a free Will option to suit everyone.nnAt UNICEF we have teamed up with two will-writing services to make it easier for our supporters to write or update their Will.nnContinue reading to discover which free will-making service is the right one for you.nnAlternatively, fill in our contact form and Pauline, our Gifts in Wills manager will contact you to discuss your options.

Write your Free Will and Testament with Free Wills Network

nIf the Free Wills Network sounds like the right option for you, here are the steps you need to take:n

  1. Get in touch with us and provide your address and contact details.
  2. n t

  3. Within 5-7 working days, you will receive an information pack from the Free Wills Network, which will include the list of participating solicitors close to where you live. The pack will also include the terms and conditions and a Will Planner. These will help you plan and prepare for your consultation with your chosen solicitor.

  5. Arrange an appointment with your preferred solicitor from the list provided.
  6. n t

  7. Complete and sign the u201cConfidential Declaration Formu201d for the solicitor. This will be in your pack and will be returned to the Free Wills Network by your solicitor to confirm that you have availed of the service.

Terms and Conditions

nBoth schemes cover the cost of a simple straightforward Will/Mirror Will. Where you need advice for a more complex Will, you will need to arrange any additional costs with your chosen Will-writing service. Both schemes are available in Ireland and are for those aged 18 years and over.nnIt is your decision alone on what should be included in your Will and your solicitor will give you independent advice.nnYou do not have to include a charitable gift to UNICEF in your will, but we hope as a UNICEF supporter that you will consider including a legacy gift and continue to support children in need around the world.
