This Christmas, children are suffering.

nMillions of children all over the world are living in dire conditions this Christmas.nnRight now, Famine is looming in Somalia and children are at risk of starvation. In Ukraine, children are being forced from their homes and facing a freezing winter with no protection from the elements.nnNo child should die of hunger or cold.nnUNICEF is working tirelessly in over 190 countries to help protect children in danger. Help Children in Gaza

nIn the deathly silence between the bombs, childrenu2019s pain and suffering rage on. Gaza is becoming a graveyard for thousands of children and for those still alive, itu2019s hell.nnHomes and whole communities have been destroyed, whilst hospitals, once a bastion of hope for the sick and injured, have become another target for airstrikes and bombs.nnWithout functioning hospitals and access to medicine those injured cannot receive the care they need to survive. Without food, children already weak and in shock will not be able to fight off infections. Without safe drinking water and sanitation supplies, children could die from dangerous water-borne diseases.nnEvery waking moment is a nightmare for children in Gaza.u00a0Please donate now to send vital aid to Gaza and the wider state of Palestine.

There has been conflict in eastern Ukraine for eight years now.u00a0Throughout, UNICEF has been on the ground there supportingu00a0children.
