Learning for all
nEvery child deserves an education u2013 and UNICEF is helping to ensure they get it. In refugee camps, in war zones, from the global south to Europe, UNICEF is helping children access education despite their many challenges.nnWe advocate for childrenu2019s education rights, we provide them the supplies they need to learn, and we give them the shelter, food and water that is so crucial to their schooling. And we can only do this thanks to our generous supporters who have enabled 37.7 million children to receive an education in 2023 alone.nnA total of 17.7 millionu00a0of these young people were living in emergencies in places like Gaza and Ukraine. Despite the wars, despite the disease and the hunger and the poverty, our supporters enabled us to reach children in their tents and in their bomb shelters and help them learn.u00a0nnChildren with disabilities are a priority for UNICEF too, and we are helping those with physical conditions and psychological trauma overcome these barriers and still receive the education they deserve.
