You can help UNICEF keep children fed and warm this Christmas.
Give the gift of food to Gaza’s children this Christmas
The children of Gaza deserves the safety, comfort and hope we wish for every child at Christmas.
But for so many in Gaza, winter brings cold nights, empty stomachs, and the fear of long, dark months without enough food, warmth or security. Malnutrition is still far above pre-crisis levels, and countless children are waking each day on damp mattresses, shivering in makeshift shelters, still living with the trauma of conflict.
You can help change that this Christmas.
UNICEF teams are on the ground in Gaza right now, delivering life-saving aid to children who need it most. Our staff are providing emergency food to fight malnutrition, warm clothing to protect little ones from the cold, safe water, shelter essentials, and urgent medical support.
We are also offering psychological care and education, giving children in Gaza the support they need today, and the tools to one day build a brighter future in Palestine.
This Christmas, your donation can help save the children of Gaza. You can be the crucial support families are waiting for.

UNICEF's impact in Gaza is powerful because we’re more than a charity organization – as a UN agency, our teams are on the ground across Palestine every day delivering the best standard of support to children who need it most. And behind every child we reach are thousands of supporters across Ireland who make this work possible. Will you stand with them?
Support the UNICEF Christmas Appeal and help children in Gaza
Children in Gaza need us more than ever this Christmas.
Even with the recent ceasefire, October saw some of the highest levels of child malnutrition ever recorded in Gaza – nearly five times higher than earlier this year. Too many little ones are still slipping into life-threatening hunger, and families continue to face extreme shortages of food, medicine and safe shelter.
Yet in the middle of this hardship, kindness from people like you her in Ireland is making real, tangible change.
Thanks to generous charitable donations to UNICEF, our teams working in Gaza reached more than 1,600 severely malnourished children in October, enrolling them in emergency nutrition programmes that are keeping them alive right now.
In the same month, over 10,000 pregnant women and new mothers received essential vitamins – vital support that protects fragile newborns during the most vulnerable moments of their lives.
But the crisis isn’t over. And children still need the hope you can bring.
A Christmas donation to UNICEF today can help deliver life-saving food, protection and care to children who are running out of time.
Together, we can make this darkest season a little brighter – and help build a safer future for every child in Palestine.
Please donate today. Gaza’s children cannot wait.

Maysaa and her daughter Fares need your help.
UNICEF teams are working in Gaza now
Maysaa and her young daughter, Fares, have lost everything. Now they’re trying to survive winter in a thin, makeshift tent.
“The morning was heartbreaking. Rainwater flooded the tent, soaking our clothes and mattresses. My children were crying from the cold as the water drenched them,” Maysaa said.
“This is only the beginning of winter – how will we survive the days ahead?”
For thousands of mothers like Maysaa, the struggle is overwhelming. With barely any food available, and the threat of famine hanging over Gaza City, many have nothing to give their children and are relying entirely on the kindness of people like you to save them from severe malnutrition.
Your support today can give a child the food and warmth they desperately need.
