Children across the Middle East are facing growing danger as hostilities escalate.

Recent violence has already had a devastating impact. In Lebanon, at least 83 children have been killed and more than 250 injured as airstrikes and fighting intensify. On average, over 10 children are killed and around 36 injured each day across the country.

In Iran alone, around 180 children have reportedly been killed, including 168 girls who died when a strike hit their elementary school during class.

Across the region, attacks on homes, schools and hospitals are putting children at immediate risk and disrupting the essential services they rely on to survive.

Children should never be targets of war. Yet today, millions of children are living with fear, loss and uncertainty.

Please donate today to help protect children and families affected by this crisis.

The latest escalation is already having devastating consequences. Homes, schools and hospitals have been damaged or destroyed, forcing families to flee and disrupting access to healthcare, clean water and education.

Why monthly donations matter

Crises can escalate suddenly. Children need support not only in the immediate aftermath of violence but also in the months and years that follow.

A monthly donation allows UNICEF to respond quickly when emergencies occur and continue supporting children long after the headlines fade.

Regular donations help us:

  • Deliver lifesaving supplies when conflict escalates
  • Maintain essential services for children
  • Reach children across the Middle East and around the world

Even a small monthly gift can help protect children from hunger, disease and the effects of conflict.
