Thank You!

Thank you, that’s the message we want to give to our donors. In 2023, your donations helped save the lives of millions of children. You were there for them when they needed you most.

From Syria to Ukraine and Sudan to Yemen, you helped provide vital aid like food, water, warm clothes and medical supplies to vulnerable children when they needed it most.

Your generosity has helped transform the lives of children, giving them the promise of a brighter, safer future.

Thank you for everything you do for children in need around the world.

Life After the Earthquakes – How You’re Helping

On the 6th of February, two massive earthquakes hit southern Turkey and north-west Syria devastating the lives of millions of children in a matter of minutes. We were truly humbled by the phenomenal response from people in Ireland who wanted to help. You’re helping us deliver safe water, emergency food and hygiene supplies to children in the most badly hit areas.

In March, best-selling author and UNICEF Ambassador, Cathy Kelly visited south-east Turkey to meet families whose lives have been shattered by the earthquakes. She found it heart-breaking to see the tragic consequences on so many children’s lives. But she was inspired to see the huge difference your donations are making.

“It was a joy to see children smiling and playing again after everything they had suffered.”

We’re so grateful to you and to all of our supporters who gave children the help they needed during one of the worst moments of their lives.

Water is Flowing in Syria Thanks to You

Ten-year-old Sida is from Syria. Her city was badly damaged by the earthquakes, but thanks to great generosity like yours, she was thrilled to enjoy the luxury of a shower after she was made homeless in February.

You’re Feeding Starving Children

Right now, nearly 37 million children are displaced worldwide because of conflict, violence and other crises. Many of them are severely acutely malnourished.

In Yemen, where nearly 13 million children require humanitarian assistance, your donations are saving lives every day. Thanks to generous supporters like you, 107,225 severely acutely malnourished children have been given emergency medical treatment and life-saving food.

When 14,500 cartons of Ready-to-Use Therapeutic Food (RUTF) were destroyed in a factory fire in Sudan in May, donors like you came to the rescue by helping us get emergency supplies to the children most in need.

Thanks to support like yours, 115,000 cartons of RUTF were shipped from France, saving the lives of severely acutely malnourished children
